Where did we take Christ who was in us. A singer sang “tulianza na roho tumemalizia na mwili kwa nini?”
As Christians, as the church we have lost the fire for the Lord. We have misused the name Christianity. Christianity means to be Christlike and you have Christlike characters that prove and show Christ in you. We have been called Christians but still involved in corruption, we are still in terrorism, still in poverty and sickness. Each day people become more poor and go beyond the poverty line but we who have have nothing to do with those who don’t have. They are not of our class or calibre. Our children we have trained the to hate more than yo love. We have indoctrinated ourselves with useless and invalid practices which have instead of adding firewood to the fire we are actively and comfortably pouring water on the fire and we expect to be fire or even warmth.
Acts.11.26 – and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch
They were first called Christian because they had manifested the power and the fire in them and not from the world bit from Jehovah Almighty He who reigns with power and Majesty He who is king above all He who was, is, and forever will be.
“Kama tumeanza na roho tutamatishe na roho na tulioanza na mwili mwanga ukatujia tukafahamu ukweli wa mambo kuwa Jehovah anaokoa.”
Christians we have seen ourselves holier that thou, we don’t mix with sinners and if we do we cannot sit together or share something. We have been hypocritical before Jehovah and he says in
Rev.3.16 – So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.
God hates hypocrisy. We should return to the first love of Christ. Return to the unity and love of the first church.
